DC (Doctor of Chiropractic)
Certified in Clinical Acupuncture
Dr. Kunz is a 2004 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic, in the Twin Cities. Prior to attending chiropractic school, he double majored in biology and secondary education, earning his bachelor of science degree at South Dakota State University.
In January of 2005, Dr. Kunz started into practice at a local clinic in Sioux Falls gaining insight and experience on how to run a practice. 18 months later he started The Chiropractors at Four Hills. Since that time his practice has continued to grow and he has helped hundreds of patients reach better health through chiropractic care, acupuncture, and nutritional counseling.
His successful practice is driven by 4 simple principles:
1. Compassion--every patient is treated like family.
2. Respect--show respect first, in turn, you will receive respect.
3. Knowledge--for a life's work, continue to learn for life.
4. Purpose--In order, remember God, remember others, remember yourself.

Various Local Universities
We frequently host massage interns at our clinic. These interns are in the last semester of their training, and each one joins our clinic for a limited period of time, most commonly 6 to 8 weeks. Massage internships in our clinic allow students to not only continue to develop their massage techniques, but it also gives them the unique opportunity to see clients in a clinical setting. Having a massage intern in our clinic is advantagous for 2 reasons: The first is that it gives the intern the opportunity to treat specific conditions that they might not otherwise see in a spa-type setting. The second is that it gives our patients the opportunity to participate in a learning program where they get a high quality, therapeutic massage at a reduced rate. The result is a win-win situation where the intern continues to learn and develop their skills, while patients get the opportunity to experience a massage at a rate significantly lower than they might find anywhere else in the area.
Our interns are developing their skills in therapeutic, deep tissue, swedish, and sports massage. Their hours and availability vary. Priority scheduling is reserved for current patients in the clinic, but we do accept outside bookings as scheduling allows.
